My experience was one of a kind. I didn’t expect to learn so much about not only my dream field but myself. I’ve grown more in these past weeks than I’ve done my entire 4 years of college. This program is like no other and I’m forever grateful for the experience, the connections, and the impact that it has brought on my life.

This was by far the best program that I have every been a part of. It was highly organized and I feel like not one second of my time was waisted. Being in this program is the first time that I feel appreciated and heard for my interests because I am surrounded by so many like-minded people. I feel smarter, more confident, wiser, and stronger all because of the work that we’ve done in just a month.

I would especially recommend IMPACT for those who are going into sports & entertainment. I think it’s a great way to meet new faces and to improve their value proposition. Also, it would help those who don’t know exactly what they want to do because this program reveals several different career paths that they may have never heard of before.

IMPACT was invaluable to my professional career. Through the program, I was able to intern at Wasserman, one of the top sports agencies in the world, and gain real-world sports business experience. I was able to make great connections through the program and internship, leading to follow up opportunities after the summer like assisting Wasserman at NBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago. IMPACT not only gave me a leg up and a foot in the door, but it also helped me to become a professional in the business workplace as well. I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience and would recommend IMPACT to anyone serious about jump starting their career.

My experience with IMPACT was way more than I could have ever expected and my expectations were definitely met. I was excited to be selected to the program and knew the type of people I would be exposed to but had no idea just how meaningful the experience was going to be. Right off the bat after the first day I knew it was a special program with the investment and energy put forth by everyone to bring together such awesome speakers in a very organized and entertaining format. I had an amazing time with IMPACT Learning Institute! It was such an amazing transition from college into the professional workplace environment. I feel as though I have a grown not only as a person but as a professional, and I am proud of this as I am entering the workforce. I’m also so grateful that this experience has opened so many doors, including an interview opportunity at an agency I had only dreamed about working at prior to this program.

It was the best decision/investment I’ve made for myself. I learned so much in 4 weeks about the career options in the sports industry. I feel confident and ready to take on the future.

My overall experience at IMPACT has been everything I wanted and more. Getting to see how the industry is as a whole only amplified my passion for wanting this to be my career path.

I love IMPACT because it teaches you so many opportunities within sports that you never knew existed, which makes my job easier in the end because then when people apply to jobs at the Lakers, they already know what we do and know about every department and it makes them really great candidates. So it’s a win for the students and a win for me too.

There are so many things I think make this program special. One of the coolest things about this program is the access. When I was a student, I had no idea what the inside of a company looked like. To intimately do the projects that these students are doing across so many different companies, they get a peek into the window of these businesses that is so unmatched…

I wish this program existed when I was in school. IMPACT is incredibly special because it is a way to build the future of the industry and fill it with leaders who want to keep learning and pushing the industry to continue evolving.

There are no other organizations like IMPACT that put students in front of leaders and organizations that can actually open the door for them. The beauty of college is that they prepare you with knowledge, but they don’t really train you; and IMPACT is a training session that fills in that gap for students, which I love.

The IMPACT team has a genuine love for these young folks and a genuine desire to help them grow and make them better and become successful citizens of the world. It’s honest you can feel it. So I like that and it makes me want to give back and help them too.

It’s an incredible program because you’re meeting people across the industry and getting such incredible lessons and exposure to what’s out there. Just knowing what’s there helps you figure out what you like and what you don’t like. What you’re good at and not good at.

IMPACT students are clearly committed, they have a vision, and they have confidence in what they’re doing. And the structure of this program helps them channel it in the right way. There’s power in this community and in this cohort.

IMPACT really opens the doors to the industry. Most college students don’t have an opportunity to visit the top agency in the world and learn from individuals working in their dream jobs.

My expectations were exceeded. I was very leery to spend the money without knowing what we would get. From the work experience my son received, to the responsibilities he had there, to the fabulous guest speakers and one-on-one contact with them, to Felisa actually picking my son up at the airport and making sure he was settled, it truly was an amazing experience from start to finish.
